Milky Way and Bifrost Observatory - 1

The summer Milky Way rises high in the sky at midnight during June and July. It passes through some of the brighter summer constellations including Scorpius, andSagittarius.In the foreground are the Chiricahua Mountains and Bifrost Observatory in southeastern Arizona. During the exposure, Bifrost was briefly illuminated by a car's red tail lights.
