The Nikon D7000 DSLR was introduced in late 2010 and is positioned as a replacement for the Nikon D90. This mid-range DSLR has a feature set that compares favorably with the Nikon D300 in a smaller less expensive package. The D7000 has a 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, 39 AF points, 6 frames per second, 14-bit RAW format and a standard ISO range of 100-6400, expandable up to ISO 25,600.
