Crescent Moon and Venus - 2 (2014)
On the morning of 2014 February 27 (MST), the crescent Moon made an attractive pairing with Venus just before sunrise. In the image above, Venus appears high over the Peloncillo Mountains while the crescent Moon (illuminated by earthshine) is below it.
